It’s true! Hollywood is coming to Detroit. The purchase of GM’s Centerpoint Complex, a 22 acre site, has formally closed.

At this point, Motown Motion Pictures, LLC are trying to decide on a name for studio complex. Not only are they concerned about a name, they have mentioned concern for all of those people that used to be gainfully employed at the complex. With that in mind, the hope is that some of these people will be able to get some training for this new industry and once again be drawing a paycheck.
